Join local nonprofit ECHO Systems on April 14 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the PHMC Public Health Space at 4601 Market Street to learn about ways businesses can reduce costs, minimize waste and protect public health in their communities.

Single-use packaging is not only an environmental issue—it’s also a public health risk. Learn how to be a part of the movement to build systems that keep valuable materials in circulation and create a healthier future for Philadelphia and its residents. We invite residents, businesses and community organizations to attend this event, learn more about the risks associated with disposable plastics, and explore how Philadelphia can lead the transition toward a circular and prevention-first future.

Philly Unwrapped, managed by ECHO Systems and funded by Region 3 EPA Thriving Communities Green and Healthy Home Initiative, is a coalition bringing together restaurant owners, cafés, caterers, corner stores, food trucks, event venues, hospitality operators, community leaders and public officials to explore practical waste prevention strategies that work in Philadelphia.

Please spread the word to any businesses or organizations who may be interested in attending.
