Christina Hayden is Chief Growth Officer and provides strategic direction for all PHMC’s new business development initiatives and works to expand PHMC’s reach to maximize service impact for clients across Philadelphia. Prior to this role, Christina served as Chief of Staff and provided executive support to the Chief Executive Officer, Executive Leadership Team and Senior Management Team. Christina provides a wide range of leadership and support to PHMC’s strategic vision, growth and partnership endeavors. She is responsible for centralizing and managing the Board of Directors of PHMC and its subsidiaries, driving organizational improvements, integration and corporate wide initiatives. In addition, Christina is the Chief Operating Officer of the Public Health Fund, a PHMC subsidiary foundation whose mission is to improve the health and lives of children, adults, and families in the Greater Philadelphia community served by PHMC and its partners through public health initiatives.
Prior to joining PHMC, Christina was the Outreach Coordinator and Development Associate at Home of the Sparrow in Exton, PA., a nonprofit organization providing housing, education, and social services for homeless and low-income women and children.
Christina earned her bachelor’s degree in History from Boston College with a Faith, Peace, and Justice Minor, and a Pre-Med Concentration. She earned a Certificate in Medical Science Preparatory Program from Drexel University College of Medicine. She completed the American Fundraising Professional Principles of Fundraising Course and earned a Master’s in Public Administration and Certificate of Nonprofit Management from Villanova University. Christina is a member of the Penn Medicine – University of Pennsylvania Health System Board of Women Visitors and a member of both the American Public Health Association and the Pennsylvania Public Health Association.
