Laurie Corbin serves as the Managing Director for Housing and Justice Related Services, responsible for a continuum of programs that provide social services prevention, intervention, treatment and education to at risk individuals and their families. This includes responsibility for Forensic Services Programs (FIR), which represents a continuum of programs or services that focus on the diversion and early release from incarceration for justice- involved individuals; Community-Based Outreach Programs (CBOP), which include a treatment readiness/recovery support program; and New Pathways Project and Philadelphia Hepatitis Outreach Project (PHOP), a prevention education initiative for high-risk individuals. Laurie also oversees PHMC’s Homeless and Social Service programs that seek to provide comprehensive, integrated care to Philadelphia’s chronically homeless population. Laurie has also had the position of Program Director for Interim House West and Bridges’ Step Down, which provided substance use treatment and recovery housing to woman. Laurie has held leadership positions in the area of child welfare at Methodist Family Services and Northeast Treatment Centers.

Laurie has a Master of Social Service (MSS), Master of Law and Social Policy (MLSP) and Certificates in Non-Profit Executive Leadership from Bryn Mawr School of Social Work and Social Research and the Philadelphia African American Leadership Forum (PAADLF) through the Urban League of Philadelphia. She also has a B.A. in Political Science from Temple University. Laurie currently serves on the Steering Committee for the Philadelphia Reentry Coalition and as a member of the Penn Mental Health AIDS Research Community Advisory Board. She previously served as a board member for the Pennsylvania Prison Society.
