Angie Alomar-Gilbert is Managing Director of Addiction Services. Angie supports the development of the vision for the organization’s integrated substance use disorder program framework, from prevention to treatment, recovery and return to wellness. Angie is a key part of the leadership team working alongside funders and community partners to ensure PHMC’s positioning on substance use disorder, and in particular opioid use disorder, is responsive and action oriented.
With more than 25 years of service, Angie previously managed community-based outreach programs that serve more than 15,000 individuals and families annually. She also previously served as the program director of PHMC subsidiary, Interim House West, a residential treatment program for women with substance abuse and behavioral health issues. Prior to joining PHMC, Angie worked as a pediatric nurse with Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania and holds specialty certifications in infertility, pediatrics and psychiatric nursing.
She earned a B.S.N. from Pennsylvania State University and is an active member of the National Hispanic Nurse’s Association.
