National Health Center Week (August 4th-10th) is an annual celebration with the goal of raising awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s health centers over the past five decades. PHMC’s six nurse-managed, Federally Qualified Health Centers assist underserved communities, particularly public housing populations and individuals experiencing homelessness, by providing high-quality, patient-centered primary care throughout the region. Our health network makes a difference in more than 22,000 patients’ lives in this region. All of PHMC’s six health centers will take part in the nationwide festivities from August 5-9. There will be information sessions, site tours, healthy cooking demonstrations, summer treats, giveaways and more!
