Early K-12 Education
PHMC supports high-quality learning and development from early childhood through adolescence. Through partnerships with public agencies, schools and community organizations, we help expand access to early learning, out-of-school-time enrichment and educational support services across the region. Our work includes managing programs that increase the availability of pre-kindergarten education, coordinating after-school and summer learning opportunities, and supporting skill-building experiences for children and youth. We also help connect families to child care resources and work with providers to improve the quality and sustainability of early learning programs.
PHLPreK Administrative Intermediary
As the Administrative Intermediary for the City of Philadelphia’s PHLpreK program, PHMC subcontracts with child care programs to provide free preschool services.
