Johanna brings more than 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a primary focus in the nonprofit sector. She has been with PHMC since 2018 and previously served as Managing Director of Finance Operations. She brings extensive expertise in fiscal oversight and has successfully led work with accounting, payroll, audit preparation, and financial reporting functions. Her leadership has been demonstrated through the management of a high-performing fiscal team to ensure accuracy, compliance and efficiency across all financial functions.
Prior to joining PHMC in 2018, Johanna served as a finance leader at the American Board of Internal Medicine and dedicated over a decade to their mission. She began her career as an auditor at Baker Tilly (formerly ParenteBeard).
Johanna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting at Bloomsburg University, a Master’s in Public Health Management and Administration from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Pennsylvania. She is also a LEADERSHIP Philadelphia Core Program Class of 2020 Alumni.
