Jen oversees a diverse portfolio of research, program evaluation and technical assistance projects conducted at the local, state and national levels. Jen also serves as the Administrator of PHMC’s Institutional Review Board (IRB), where she oversees the IRB review process for all proposed research involving human subjects at PHMC and its subsidiaries.

Jen’s evaluation and research interests focus on opportunities for health improvement and the prevention and management of chronic disease. She has published in peer reviewed literature on diabetes prevention programming, patient navigation, Quitline services, smoke-free air policy and emergency food services. She is also a contributing author on a book chapter related to LGBTQIA+ health. Jen first joined the Research & Evaluation Group at PHMC in 2001 as a Research Assistant, working with the talented team across several positions until taking on the role of Managing Director in 2023. 

Jen has a M.P.H. from The University of Michigan and holds a B.A. is in Sociology from the College of New Jersey. She has maintained her C.P.H. credential since 2010 and is CITI Program certified. Jen is a former Peace Corps volunteer, serving in Kyrgyzstan from 1999 to 2001 as a teacher and community development support.
