Dr. Ivan Haskell oversees Joseph J. Peters Institute (JJPI), bringing more than 20 years of experience in the design, implementation and direction of child and adult community mental health programs. 

JJPI is a leader in the areas of sexual and interpersonal violence, post-traumatic stress disorder and other forms of trauma. As Executive Director, Ivan leads a strong team of professionals in providing specialized treatment services that address the entire cycle of abuse.

Ivan has worked with several publicly funded mental health programs based in schools and traditional clinics throughout the Philadelphia region. Prior to joining JJPI In 2017, Ivan served as Director of Social and Psychological Services for a nationally recognized network of charter schools, and as Chief Program and Clinical Officer at a Philadelphia-based behavioral health and social services provider. 

Ivan holds a Ph.D. in Clinical-Community Psychology from the University of South Carolina and is a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania.
