Hugh brings more 30 years of experience in education, including more than 25 years in private schools, to his role of overseeing program operations for Fairwold Academy and the Mill Creek School at PHMC. Fairwold Academy is an Approved Private School for students with special needs ranging in age from kindergarten to high school graduation. The Mill Creek School works with students from grade seven to graduation who have struggled with the education provided in public schools.
Prior to joining PHMC, Hugh was the High School Supervisor at The Vanguard School and previously served as the Education Director at Elwyn Davidson School. In both programs, he provided several professional development programs for his staff on topics such as school safety, IEP writing processes, compliance, effective teaching styles and more.
Hugh holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from West Chester University and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Supervision. He received his Principal Certificate for grades K-12 from Penn State University.
