Every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. PHMC supports this vision through a network of education services and family support programs. From high-quality early learning and dynamic out-of-school time programming to specialized education and therapeutic support, PHMC partners across the city to meet diverse learning and developmental needs. Rooted in trauma-informed care and a commitment to academic excellence, these programs build pathways to long-term success by strengthening children, families, educators and early learning providers.

By empowering 4,365 providers, PHMC provides education, social supports, early intervention and special education to 32,380 youth and children.

Early K-12 Education

PHMC supports high-quality learning and development from early childhood through adolescence. Through partnerships with public agencies, schools and community organizations, we help expand access to early learning, out-of-school-time enrichment and educational support services across the region.

Special Education

PHMC is committed to providing supportive special education services that meet the academic, emotional and developmental needs of learners with diverse challenges. Our specialized schools offer individualized instruction within structured, therapeutic environments that foster growth, resilience and success.
