Foster Care

PHMC supports children and families through a continuum of foster care services focused on safety, stability and long-term well-being. In partnership with public agencies and community providers, we work to prevent out-of-home placements, reunify families whenever possible and ensure permanent, nurturing homes for children in care. Through direct services, caregiver support and emergency assistance, PHMC helps children thrive and families heal — building stronger futures, one home at a time.

We provide safe and healthy homes to more than 900 children in the Philadelphia region.
