The Interrupt: Cities for Better Health Philadelphia

The Interrupt: Cities for Better Health Philadelphia brings together local leaders, organizations, and residents to co-create innovative, multi-sector health programs. This collaboration of more than thirty community partners works to advance health through collaboration, education, and action. Launched in 2019, this place-based, community-led initiative focuses on reducing chronic disease and promoting health equity across the city’s most underserved neighborhoods.
The Interrupt: Cities for Better Health Philadelphia is part of a global coalition of 40+ cities supported by Novo Nordisk and led locally by Health Promotion Council, a subsidiary of PHMC.
