The Southeastern Pennsylvania (SEPA) Tobacco Control Project (TCP) partners with 19 service providers across 7 counties in Southeastern Pennsylvania to reduce tobacco use and secondhand smoke exposure, especially in underserved communities. This is a program of Health Promotion Council (HPC), a PHMC subsidiary.

  • Tobacco dependence treatment in community, worksite, housing, clinical or virtual settings
  • Technical assistance for implementing tobacco-free policies
  • Merchant compliance checks to ensure adherence to youth tobacco sale laws
  • Statewide Merchant Education Initiative offers training, mailings and media campaigns
  • Support for employers, schools, municipalities and housing managers to protect residents from secondhand smoke
  • Administer the Smoking Treatment Accreditation & Recognition (STAR) tobacco dependence treatment accreditation program
