Recovery Support Services (RSS)

Recovery Support Services (RSS) provides non-clinical support for individuals who are substance-involved and/or in recovery. Through its peer specialist model, RSS emphasizes life skills and resources necessary for ongoing success in recovery.
As part of PHMC program New Pathways Project (NPP), Recovery Support Services enhances NPP’s work as a recovery community that addresses barriers to reducing or eliminating substance use.
- Support groups and recovery coaching
- Addiction and recovery education
- “Warm handoffs” to resources for treatment, primary care and mental health care

Eligibility Criteria
Individuals interested in substance use treatment services, including:
- Not yet receiving treatment
- Currently engaged in treatment
- Completed treatment
Referral Process
Participants may enroll directly or connect through an agency such as a treatment provider or community-based organization.
Community-based organizations are welcome and encouraged to refer participants.
