Parents Succeeding offers parents a variety of enriching cultural, educational, recreational and social activities. A core idea behind the Parents Succeeding program is that community institutions can play an important role in ensuring that learning happens everywhere by giving parents as many options and supports as possible for helping their young children develop and learn.
- Plans and conducts field trips to community institutions or amenities
- Field trips include an event or interactive experience, a meal and time for educational play, recreation and/or socializing
- Provides books and other materials that link the field trips with specific guidance being offered during parent education sessions

- Eligibility depends on the program’s funder
- Currently, Parents Succeeding is funded by Philadelphia Housing Authority for residents of the Sharswood neighborhood of Philadelphia
