Mid-Atlantic Public Health Partnership

Back to Programs
The Mid-Atlantic Public Health Partnership (MAPHP) works to strengthen public health in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware by advancing dialogue, advocacy, education, and collaboration across the region. The Partnership is a hub for regional collaboration, creating opportunities for learning, engagement, and action on pressing public health challenges.
MAPHP is a coalition of three leading state public health associations—Pennsylvania Public Health Association (PPHA), Maryland Public Health Association (MdPHA), and the Delaware Academy of Medicine/Delaware Public Health Association (DPHA). The partnership brings together professionals, students, and organizations to collaborate across state lines, share expertise, and advance public health goals that align with the American Public Health Association (APHA).
  • Regional webinars and policy forums: offering ongoing sessions on emerging public health issues, legislation, and best practices
  • Educational programming: providing professional development, student engagement, and training opportunities for public health practitioners
  • Collaborative advocacy: uniting voices across states to advance policies that improve population health and health equity
