Maternal Child Health Workforce Development Program

The Maternal Child Health Workforce Development Program provides training for maternal and child health (MCH) professionals. The program works with Pennsylvania Department of Health (PA DOH) vendors, practitioners and other participants in the MCH system of care. Trainings range across many topics, including workforce development and capacity building, depending on professional need.
This two-year collaborative grant, funded by PA DOH, operates under Philadelphia Area Sexual Health Initiative (PASHI), a program of PHMC’s Health Promotion Services.
- In-person, online, and virtual training for MCH professionals
- Training for PA DOH vendors and practitioners
- Support for participants in the MCH system of care

Eligibility Criteria
- Employee of Pennsylvania Department of Health’s Bureau of Family Health
- OR, representative of a BFH grantee/partner
Referral Process
The Pennsylvania Department of Public Health refers providers and organizations to receive trainings.
