Fairwold Academy is an Approved Private School (APS) that provides high-quality, comprehensive academics within a therapeutic framework. The holistic and team-driven approach to education encompasses family, community and school district involvement. The administrative and clinical staff help to create a foundation to ensure students can thrive academically, emotionally and socially.
Schools
- The Academy welcomes students with severe Emotional Disturbance (ED), Other Health Impairment (OHI), and behavioral and mental health disorders.
- SPIRIT welcomes students with an Intellectual Disability (ID), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and emotional, behavioral and mental health disorders.
Curriculum includes:
- Academic instruction in core subjects, reading and math interventions, and vocational courses
- Specialized support services include life skills programming and transition coordination
- Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapies
- Additional supports, including assistive technology
