Environmental Health
Back to Programs
Through its direct service home visiting programs, National Nurse-Led Care Consortium (NNCC) offers education on how the environment (where we live, learn, work and play) can impact health and strategies to reduce environmental health risks. NNCC provides environmental education and resources on a variety of topics. NNCC is a subsidiary of PHMC.
- Childhood Injury Prevention: education and resources to prevent injury caused by home safety hazards
- Lead Poisoning Prevention, Detection, and Control: lead education, lead paint testing and reducing lead paint hazards
- Asthma: how to control environmental asthma triggers
- Climate Change: effects of climate change on health and strategies to prepare for climate-related emergencies
