ChildWare
ChildWare is a cloud-based child care management system developed and managed by PHMC. Available to any early learning program, ChildWare helps early childhood education (ECE) programs raise the quality of services by making it easier to manage administrative tasks and stay on top of licensing and accreditation requirements.
ChildWare 2.0 is used by PHLpreK early learning programs and is provided to them free of charge as part of their contract. PHLpreK providers use ChildWare 2.0 to verify eligibility and to track enrollment and attendance.
- Provides state-specific software and technical assistance
- Tracks data regarding recruitment, enrollment, children and families
- Manages parent and subsidy billing
- Provides staff hiring and professional development data
- Maintains attendance and meal rosters

Eligibility Criteria
ChildWare is available to any early childhood education center, group or family child care; most beneficial to programs operating in Pennsylvania.
The cost of licensing for the ChildWare 1.0 subscription service is based on an agency’s total enrollment to help cover the costs of hosting and maintenance.
