The AmeriCorps Community Health Fellowship Program enhances students’ competencies to screen patients for structural determinants of health, refer individuals to social and health care services, provide health care education to patients and expand capacity within primary care and public health organizations. During the fellowship, students are placed at Federally Qualified Health Centers or community organizations throughout Pennsylvania to receive advanced training.
