Support PHMC this Saturday, July 24, by participating in Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church’s 2010 Fit for Eternity Walk/Run. The course is just under five miles (4.76 miles) and starts in front of the church’s west site. Race proceeds benefit PHMC’s Mary Howard and Rising Sun Health Centers. Each year the church focuses on a different public health issue as a race theme, this year featuring preventative health medicine as its focal point. Enon chose to partner with PHMC’s health centers because of our tireless work to ensure that Philadelphia’s homeless, underinsured and uninsured populations have access to quality care. Previous race themes include mental health, lupus, sickle cell disease and childhood obesity.
