Give the Gift of Parenting
From September 13-16, Groupon—the online discount coupon site—will partner with us to raise funds for Focus on Fathers, a program of PHMC affiliate Resources for Children’s Health. You’ll be able to donate to the Focus on Father’s Groupon campaign here.
Fathers want to play active and positive roles in their children’s lives, and Focus on Fathers supports their efforts to do so. Since 1996, Focus on Fathers has provided formal parenting education classes, individual one-on-one counseling, peer support groups and father-child-family activities.
Focus on Fathers brings together fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers and all other men who are helping to care for children, to learn more about the joys and challenges of raising healthy and happy kids. Each year, Focus on Fathers serves more than 500 fathers and their families. Fathers learn more about critical parenting issues, such as child development, nurturing techniques and positive parenting tips from which they and their children benefit. Focus on Fathers offers broad support on many levels and brings direct services to the fathers by conducting classes in community centers, drug treatment facilities, day care centers and other sites.
