The National Nursing Centers Consortium (NNCC), a PHMC affiliate is releasing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for qualified hazard remediation contractors in Southeastern Pennsylvania. This RFQ will be to perform lead and healthy homes remediation work under NNCC’s Lead and Healthy Homes Program, funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Remediation work may take place in Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Montgomery, Philadelphia, or Schuylkill Counties. Organizations must be certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Lead Abatement Contractor in order to be eligible for selection. NNCC expects to complete 15 hazard remediation projects between September 1, 2015 and June 30, 2016, with projects typically ranging from $1,000-$5,000 per home.
