Rapid Response Team (RRT)

Rapid Response Teams (RRT) respond quickly to early learning programs who have a child(ren) at risk for expulsion due to behaviors that program staff find challenging. RRT provide trauma-sensitive, human-centered, collaborative short-term support and coaching to the program’s staff to reduce a child(ren)’s expulsion risk.
- Conducts classroom observations
- Works alongside educators and caregivers to develop strategies for addressing problematic behavior
- Holds virtual office hours every third Thursday of the month from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. to provide one-on-one support for educators and caregivers

Eligibility Criteria
Open to all licensed early learning providers in Philadelphia.
Educators (administrators or teachers from a local program), caregivers (parents or family members), and community members may all request support for a child or classroom.
Referral Process
Providers, educators, caregivers and community members may request RRT support directly.
