Delaware Public Health Institute (DPHI)
The Delaware Public Health Institute (DPHI) is dedicated to advancing public health practice and making systematic improvements in population health. DPHI works to impact the health outcomes of groups, which in turn helps all people within those groups to access the conditions and resources they need to live healthy, happy lives.
Recognized by the National Network of Public Health Institutes as the first and only public health institute in Delaware, DPHI is a collaboration between PHMC, the University of Delaware’s College of Health Sciences and Delaware Academy of Medicine / Delaware Public Health Association.
- Lead a collaborative network of stakeholders — known as the DPHI State Health Improvement Plan coalition — dedicated to shared visions for addressing core health issues and improving population health

Eligibility Criteria
DPHI recognizes all public, private, and voluntary entities that contribute to the health and wellbeing of Delawareans.
State Health Improvement Plan coalition members represent a range of health-related expertise across the state, including education, business, government, social services, environmental agencies and nonprofits.
