Child Care Facilities Fund
The Child Care Facilities Fund administers grants that support improving child care facilities. Grant funding supports the maintenance and overall improvements for high-quality early childhood education providers located in Philadelphia. The Child Care Facilities Fund is made possible by the City of Philadelphia and is managed by PHMC alongside the Office of Children and Families (OCF).
- PHMC facilitates the application process, performing project vetting and distributing and reconciling payments
- Examples of projects that qualify for funding include minor- to mid-level renovations, purchasing and installing large appliances and the purchase of health and safety systems

Eligibility Criteria
Commercial Center & Group Child Care Providers, Residential Family & Group Child Care Providers with a Keystone STARS rating of 2-4 (Note: STAR 2 providers must meet additional requirements)
Located in Philadelphia
Referral Process
Providers may respond to RFPs during periodic application cycles; funding will typically be announced via website or listserv. Application cycles are dependent on funding availability.
