The PHMC Public Health Campus on Cedar is an innovative and integrated public health campus designed to serve the West and Southwest Philadelphia community. Formerly known as Mercy Catholic Medical Center, the facility is being transitioned by PHMC and its coalition partners Penn Medicine, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Independence Blue Cross Foundation into a 21st century health and wellness hub.
The Campus currently offers:
- Primary and preventive care provided by the PHMC Health Center on Cedar
- General and emergency dentistry by PHMC Dental
- Hospice inpatient care by PHMC subsidiary The Visiting Nurse Association of Greater Philadelphia
- Post-acute medical care provided by PHMC Medical Respite on Cedar
- Emergency Department, inpatient hospital care, psychiatric services, and a crisis response center provided by the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania
Additional services will be provided in the near future, including programming from the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
