On the occasion of National Nurses Week, PHMC recognizes and commends nurses for the important role they play in the health care system — and in our own organization.

The National Nursing Centers Consortium, a PHMC affiliate, is the leading advocate for nurse-managed health centers, nurse-led care with a goal to reduce health disparities and meet the primary care and wellness needs of all people. . Nurses and nurse practitioners manage the PHMC health network, which includes five federally qualified health centers offering complete, high-quality, patient-centered health services for our community.

The American Nurses Association has designated 2015 as the "Year of Ethics," recognizing the impact of ethical nursing practice on patient outcomes and quality of care.
