This year's theme for National Public Health Week is "Public Health: Start Here". Since 1972, everyone at PHMC has been helping people in our community to start and continue making healthy choices every day. In numbers: our work directly reaches 350,000 people in the region and our combined annual impact on the Philadelphia community's economic vitality is approximately $700 million. We do this work through the strength of our partnerships, programs, affiliates, and later this month our physical location. Together we are able to impact every household in Philadelphia.
