The Mid-Atlantic Public Health Partnership, a coalition comprising Pennsylvania Public Health Association (PPHA), Delaware Academy of Medicine/Delaware Public Health Association (DPHA), and Maryland Public Health Association (MdPHA), is hosting its third annual and fully virtual conference to public health communities across Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland on March 16 & 17, 2022.
The conference will focus on the theme “Public Health and Climate Change: Response, Policy and Implementation” and convene regional experts with a focus on shaping public health to address climate-related challenges. Extreme weather events in recent weeks are a reminder that climate change and public health are inextricably connected. Adapting public health policy to address the climate crisis is key to protecting and strengthening our communities.
Public health students, professionals, and partners will have the opportunity to engage in discussions about innovative strategies to address climate issues in the region.
