PHMC is proud to celebrate Black History Month.

As a part of PHMC’s mission to create and sustain healthier communities, we are committed to doing more to encourage diversity, achieve equity and foster an environment of inclusion. To celebrate Black History Month, PHMC is engaging employees by offering information, planning educational events, and building awareness throughout the month of February.

Black history is rich in culture and tradition. PHMC will honor the significant contributions of Black people throughout history through weekly emails and celebration suggestions involving historical landmarks and events around the city of Philadelphia.

As we strive to build healthier communities, PHMC recognizes how far our communities have come and how much further we must go to achieve equity and inclusion for all.
