The Mid-Atlantic Public Health Partnership, a coalition comprising Pennsylvania Public Health Association, Delaware Academy of Medicine/Delaware Public Health Association, and Maryland Public Health Association, is hosting its second annual virtual conference for public health communities across Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland on January 13 and 14, 2022.
The COVID-19 pandemic is a reminder that a strong public health infrastructure must be trauma-informed and equitable. Prioritizing these commitments is crucial to rebuilding at the local, regional, and national levels. This conference will convene regional experts to discuss the theme “Strengthening Communities Through Trauma-Informed Public Health.”
Public health students, professionals, and partners will have the opportunity to engage in discussions about ways to address the most pressing challenges in the region. Virtual networking opportunities will be provided to allow for attendees to continue these conversations beyond the conference.
