On the occasion of National Nurses Week, PHMC recognizes and commends nurses for the important role they play in the health care system — and in our own organization.

The National Nurse-Led Care Consortium, a PHMC affiliate, is the leading advocate for nurse-managed health centers, nurse-led care with a goal to reduce health disparities and meet the primary care and wellness needs of all people. Nurses and nurse practitioners manage the PHMC health network, which includes six federally qualified health centers offering complete, high-quality, patient-centered health services for our community.

The American Nurses Association has designated 2017 as the "Year of the Healthy Nurse," with the theme “Nursing: the Balance of Mind, Body, and Spirit.” It’s all about celebrating nurses who lead the charge for health and wellness.
