Linda Creed, formerly the Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation, is committed to promoting breast health, fostering the healing process and establishing a public agenda for prevention and cure. Since 1987, the organization, founded in honor of Philadelphia songwriter Linda Creed who died of breast cancer at the age of 37, has provided patient navigation regionally and nationally to help women access and chart a course through the healthcare system and overcome barriers to quality care. Linda Creed provides direct service regionally and referrals to services elsewhere in the U.S. for free mammography screenings and diagnostic tests for uninsured and underinsured women, critical financial assistance to women receiving breast cancer treatment, and advocacy.

Educating women and their families about detection, treatment and survival strategies is at the forefront of Linda Creed's mission. Education programs, such and Linda Creed's Safe Circle, which provides culturally appropriate outreach to the African-American community, and Rainbow Circle, which provides inclusive education, information and services to women in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, are tailored to meet the needs of traditionally underserved women in relevant and acceptable ways. Through workshops at health fairs, faith- and community-based organizations, educational facilities, work sites and small groups, as well through its toll-free information line, online support and individual counseling, Linda Creed offers a wealth of breast health information and support services.

Linda Creed joined Public Health Management Corporation in 2008.
