In August 2008, Margarita Queralt Mirkil was appointed as the new executive director of La Comunidad Hispana (LCH).

Youth violence has become one of the most serious public health problems in the United States. Research is essential to the public health approach to ending youth violence.

Targeted Solutions, the consulting arm of PHMC, was recently awarded the Technical Assistance (TA) Matching Fund grant through the William Penn Foundation.

On July 1, 2008, PHMC was designated as the new fiscal and management intermediary for Out-of-School Time (OST), a city initiative that provides after-school and summer services.
