Public Health Management Corporation Announces Leadership Appointments
Sara Molina-Robinson promoted to Chief Program Officer
Patty Griffin promoted to Chief Communications Officer
David Fair promoted to Executive Director of Turning Points for Children

PHILADELPHIAPublic Health Management Corporation (PHMC), a nonprofit public health institute that creates and sustains healthier communities, is pleased to announce several promotions and appointments across its executive leadership team. Sara Molina-Robinson is now Chief Program Officer; Patty Griffin was promoted to Chief Communications Officer; and David Fair was named Executive Director of Turning Points for Children (TPFC), a PHMC subsidiary. These executive leadership appointments signify PHMC’s focus on collaboration throughout the organization to execute on its mission in strategic and impactful ways.

Their expertise and commitment to PHMC's mission and success is key to the organization's ability to provide the highest quality public health service, resources and programming in Philadelphia," said Michael Pearson, President and Chief Executive Officer of PHMC. "Their charge to lead and collaborate is demonstrated across all areas of their work, and I look forward to the continued contributions they will bring to PHMC."

In addition to the executive leadership appointments, there have been several additions and promotions across the leadership team at PHMC to further advance the organization’s mission:

  • Jake Becker was named Managing Director, Specialized Health Services and will oversee PHMC’s Health Network, comprising six federally qualified health centers serving more than 17,000 people across Philadelphia.
  • Kristine Gonnella was promoted to Managing Director, Strategy Development and will oversee strategic, cross-sector partnerships to advance public health programming across Philadelphia.
  • Jennifer Dickson Keith was promoted to Managing Director, Research and Evaluation Group and will oversee the development, implementation, and coordination of evaluation activities for PHMC and external partners.

Sara Molina-Robinson, Chief Program Officer, PHMC

As Chief Program Officer, Molina-Robinson will provide overall leadership and guidance to PHMC’s hundreds of programs and network of subsidiaries. Prior to her current position, Molina-Robinson served as Chief Educational Services Officer where she managed PHMC’s Special Education and Support Services portfolio, Child Development and Family Services group and PHMC subsidiary National Nurse-Led Care Consortium (NNCC). In this role, she also oversaw PHMC’s specialized schools, Fairwold Academy and The Mill Creek School, and the ChildLink and PersonLink programs. Molina-Robinson was instrumental in launching PersonWorks, a first-of-its-kind integrated employment initiative in Pennsylvania and coordinating COVID-19 vaccination efforts for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) in Philadelphia.

Molina-Robinson's entire 32-year career in public health has been with PHMC. Molina-Robinson holds a master’s degree in nonprofit management from Eastern University and a bachelor’s degree from Chestnut Hill College.

Patty Griffin, Chief Communications Officer, PHMC

As Chief Communications Officer, Griffin will lead PHMC’s Communications and Community Engagement initiatives. Prior to this role, Griffin served as Managing Director of the Communications department and previously held management roles at AmeriHealth Caritas and Walgreens/Take Care Health. Griffin brings more than 30 years of experience to the Chief Communications Officer role, including strategic counsel, business objective messaging, change and crisis management, internal communications, public relations and marketing initiatives. She will oversee all aspects of PHMC’s strategic communications, media relations, design and marketing, internal communications and community engagement activities. Griffin holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a concentration in public relations from Temple University.

David Fair, Executive Director, Turning Points for Children

As Executive Director of PHMC subsidiary Turning Points for Children, Fair will oversee the $22 million social and health services agency providing care to more than 4,000 families and children in Philadelphia. Bringing to the position more than 40 years of experience, Fair has expertise in nonprofit leadership, organizational strategy, executive management and corporate, foundation and government relations. He also founded and managed the region’s largest foster care agency, numerous child abuse prevention programs and has established and led several government entities. Prior to this role, Fair served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Turning Points for Children since 2013, where he supported the Chief Executive Officer with daily management of the organization. Fair holds a degree in political science from the University of Pennsylvania.
