Preventing AIDS through Live Music and Sound (PALMS), a PHMC project, was recently included as an evidence-based intervention in the most recent CDC Compendium update, officially posted on the CDC's Compendium of Evidence-based HIV Behavioral Interventions.

PALMS uses theatrical performance and role-play to deliver an innovative, theory-based HIV risk reduction intervention. The project targets high-risk male adolescents in juvenile justice settings. The group intervention is delivered in three sessions to groups of eight to 20 adolescents. Click Here to view information sheet.
