Students from Cultivating Communities Campaign, a program that partners with community organizations to provide people with access to fresh, local produce, were recently featured in a
Montgomery News video. Through a network of five gardens, the Cultivating Communities Campaign distributes fresh produce to low-income families around Montgomery County. In 2011 alone, the gardens yielded more than 12,000 pounds of produce.
