In fall 2012, six Temple Law students will participate with PHMC affiliate National Nursing Centers Consortium (NNCC) for a one-semester health law and policy practicum designed and implemented by Temple Law faculty and leaders from NNCC.

Under the supervision of in-house NNCC attorneys and in collaboration with leading PHMC researchers and policy analysts, students in the health law and policy practicum will choose from a range of learning opportunities related to federal, state, and local health policy. Students will conduct legal research and analysis, write memoranda and participate in policy initiatives, and collaborate in an interactive seminar to integrate the practice of health law and policy with rigorous academic analysis. Student placements will be determined according to student interests and prior experience.
