On Tuesday, June 21, 2011, Philadelphia Business Journal reported on the expansion of PHMC’s Mary Howard Health Center, the city’s only primary care health center exclusively serving the homeless population. The article, titled “Expansion of Mary Howard Health Center complete,” highlights the center’s renovations and extended services, which became possible through funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
