In March 2011, Lee Carson, a research associate at PHMC, was interviewed for a Community College of Philadelphia television show entitled, The Tapestry of Life: LGBT Issues. This program discussed the diversity of sexuality and gender identity cultures and the behavioral health challenges faced by under-served populations. Carson spoke on the topic of LGBT issues in Philadelphia and his research here at PHMC focused on LGBT health and HIV/AIDS.
