PHMC Health Network’s six FQHCs will commemorate National Health Center Week by recognizing staff and hosting events for patients and communities from August 7-11. Events will include food, fun activities and information about health and wellness resources. Free giveaways will also be available at every health center throughout the week.
To cap off National Health Center Week, PHMC Day will be celebrated at the PHMC Public Health Campus on Cedar on Friday, August 11. PHMC programs and subsidiaries will share information about their services, and the community will be able to enjoy food, music and entertainment.
PHMC Health Network continues to assist underserved communities, particularly public housing populations and individuals experiencing homelessness, by providing high-quality, patient-centered comprehensive primary care throughout the Philadelphia region and offering an array of services, including substance use disorder and trauma treatment, behavioral health and dental care, pediatric medicine, and social services.
