The Pennsylvania Public Health Association, a subsidiary of PHMC, along with the Delaware Academy of Medicine/Delaware Public Health Association and the Maryland Public Health Association, are working together to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation, spread awareness, implement guidelines from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, and support our frontline health workforce to combat this challenge.

Remember these general guidelines:

  • Follow CDC, Department of Health and your State Governor’s office for how to best advise community members on guidelines, testing sites and phone numbers.
  • Stay six feet apart from others, avoid groups of people.
  • Cough and sneeze into your elbow, wash your hands and keep surfaces clean.
  • Call your doctor or emergency room before you go in.
  • Encourage telehealth options where possible.

Pennsylvania: Call the state hotline at 1-877-PA-HEALTH (1-877-724-3258) if you think you may need to be tested.
