Restore Repair Renew, a new initiative of the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority, is helping Philadelphia homeowners access low-interest loans for repairs to increase the safety and health of their homes. Public Health Management Corporation was one of the three organizations selected to act as an intermediary for this program and is offering this opportunity to Philadelphia homeowners.
Eligible participants can receive 10-year, 3% interest loans ranging from $2,500 to $24,999. Application eligibility criteria includes:
- Resident of Philadelphia
- A primary residence in need of repairs
- Credit score above 580
- Homeowner’s Insurance
- No outstanding municipal loans on the property or who are in a repayment plan with the City of Philadelphia
Restore Repair Renew will help homeowners with repairs to increase the health, safety, energy efficiency, and accessibility of their home. Types of repairs offered include roof and siding, plumbing, mold and radon mitigation, electrical repairs and more!
PHMC will support participants throughout the process including determining eligibility, the application process, conducting a needs assessment during a home visit, offering to financial counseling to those would like it, and connecting with a contractor and a lender.
