The Philadelphia Inquirer published a letter to the editor from Richard J. Cohen, President and CEO of Public Health Management Corporation, on the critical need to integrate services such as child welfare, physical and behavioral health, housing and other programs, in order to deliver better outcomes for children and families. The letter, “It takes a village,” emphasizes the importance of integrating these services in order to keep vulnerable children safe and well. PHMC connects services, coordinates care and provides interventions when needed. As Dr. Cohen notes, “Making the different systems work together is difficult, but it’s the only way to help struggling families thrive.” Read full letter to the editor here.
