Through our 350-plus programs, 11 affiliates and partnerships with government, foundations, businesses and community-based organizations, the work of PHMC impacts every household in Philadelphia.

That is just one example of the significant effect that PHMC and its affiliates have on the local community, as shown by the data compiled for PHMC's "Impact Dashboard."

The combined annual impact of PHMC and its affiliates on the Philadelphia community's economic vitality is estimated to be in the range of $400 million. PHMC and its affiliates have an annual gross revenue of approximately $180 million. Of every dollar received, on average, $0.93 -- or a total of $167 million -- is used for program services.

In addition, the "Impact Dashboard" includes numbers on staff demographics and the positive economic impact PHMC has on the city of Philadelphia through salaries and wage taxes.
