The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has partnered with PHMC and the National Network of Public Health Institutes on Data for Health, an initiative to explore how health information can be better harnessed to improve people's lives. Data for Health is hosting a series of events in five cities across the country, including Philadelphia. Join the discussion at PHMC headquarters on Thursday, October 30 from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The initiative is led by a high-profile advisory committee, where committee members will hear from local leaders, consumers and professionals from a wide range of sectors on what data is important to them, and how they might use it to help people lead healthier lives. The advisory committee will issue a report and recommendations in early 2015.
The event is invitation-only, but those interested can email Renee Woodside at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
