Jen Keith (she/her) is the Managing Director of the Research and Evaluation Group at PHMC, overseeing a diverse portfolio of research, program evaluation and technical assistance projects conducted at the local, state and national levels. The Research and Evaluation Group is dedicated to high-quality, mixed method evaluation and objective research that informs public health policy and decision-making. Collaboration, integrity and equity are central to our work. Jen also serves as the Administrator of PHMC's Institutional Review Board (IRB) where she is responsible for managing the IRB review process for all proposed research involving human subjects at PHMC and its subsidiaries.
Jen's evaluation/research interests have focused on addressing tobacco related health disparities and the prevention/management of chronic disease. She has published in peer reviewed literature on issues diabetes prevention programming, patient navigation, quit-line services, smoke-free air policy, and emergency food services. She is also a contributing author on a book chapter related to LGBTQIA+ health.
Jen has a MPH in Public Health from The University of Michigan and has maintained her CPH credential since 2010.
